Smart Tool Monitor
Our High Frequency Smart Tool Monitor System provides real-time monitoring of tool performance through the spindle controller — with no external sensors required.
The system monitors the electrical characteristics of the spindle during machining to help identify worn or broken tooling. Operators can monitor multiple spindles, individual cuts, and tool history from a rugged Windows touchscreen interface.
Key features include:
- Monitor up to 4 spindles
- Monitor drills and tooling as small as .008"
- No external sensors required
- Monitor individual machining operations using Smart Cuts
- Worn-tool warning and broken-tool detection
- Tool history available through CSV files
- Available with 10" or 15" rugged touchscreen displays
- Optional tower light provides an easy visual indication of tool condition
Rotary Coupling
Bring High-Speed Spindles to Rotating Machine Systems
The Futureswiss Rotary Coupling makes it possible to integrate electric high-speed spindles into CNC turret lathes, VMC tool carousels, and other rotating machine systems—with spindle speeds up to 80,000 RPM.
Its design maintains electrical and air connections through rotation, eliminating tangled cables. The air supply maintains positive pressure, helping protect the spindle and Rotary Coupling from coolant intrusion.
